Script to Screen
A 3-month class where students learn filmmaking, from script to screen! Together they will create a 5 minute film to be submitted and shown at Pickford’s Storyteller’s Seasonal Film Festival.. Each student will have a chance to build skills in script writing, directing, camera work and acting in a positive and confidence boosting environment.

September
We will focus on storytelling and script writing. Students will learn script structure, story beats, and script breakdowns.
November
Lights, camera, Action! We film the script the students have written and enter the world of editing.
October
Diving into acting for film, we will rehearse the script , create a storyboard and start on camera work.
Storyteller's Seasonal
Pickford Film Center has a low-presure, quarterly event where local film makers can showcase their work. The film made in this class will be submitted and students will be able to see their film on the big screen! More info here.
